Documentation to be submitted

In some cases, for your pre-enrolment to be valid and to enter into the place allocation process, you must submit the documentation that proves your previous studies and, therefore, gives you access to the university.

These documents must be submitted within the established deadlines for each pre-enrolment call.

How can you submit it?

Documentation sent by email or through the contact mailbox of the University Admissions Office will not be accepted. 

You do NOT have to submit documents in the following cases:

  • If you have passed the university entrance exam (PAU) in Catalonia in the current sitting.
  • If you have passed the university entrance exam (PAU) for over-25s and/or over-45s at any of the Catalan universities in the current sitting.
  • If you have passed the university entrance exam (PAU) for over-40s in the current sitting.
  • When the academic details on the university pre-enrolment form are correct, a green "checkmark" will appear. In this case, no other academic admissions data need to be provided.

 
You MUST submit documents in the following cases:

  • If you have passed the university entrance exams (PAU): certificate of the university entrance exam (PAU) marks.
  • If you have studied in an educational system within an EU Member State or another state that has signed an international agreement of reciprocity: UNED certificate.
  • If you have completed your studies in education systems from countries outside the European Union: UNEDasiss accreditation or university entrance exam (PAU/EBAU) results certificate.
  • If you passed the university orientation course (COU) before academic year 1974-1975: the school report and academic record from higher upper secondary school (Batxillerat superior) and COU, or the relevant validation certificate.
  • If you have passed higher upper secondary school (Batxillerat superior), the pre-university course (PREU) and maturity test: the school report indicating 5th- and 6th-year academic results, the PREU course results and the maturity test certificate.
  • If you have passed technical upper secondary school (Batxillerat tècnic) and the maturity test: the school report covering the last two years of study and the maturity test certificate.
  • If you have passed upper secondary school (Batxillerat) and the State exam: school report and 5th- and 6th-year academic record as well as State exam results.

If you have an academic qualification as an advanced vocational-training technician, advanced plastic arts & design technician and advanced sports technician:

  • An official certificate with the final mark for the training cycle issued by the academic centre to the third decimal place, signed by the secretary and director and with the centre's seal. If you sat the specific phase of the university entrance exam (PAU), you must submit the PAU card with the marks.

If you have final official recognition of an advanced vocational-training technician certificate or plastic arts and design advanced vocational-training technician certificate or sports advanced vocational-training technician certificate:

  • The final official recognition of the advanced vocational-training technician certificate issued by the Catalan Ministry of Education or by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports or by any other official institution, together with the results certificate of your studies.

If you have level-two vocational training (FP2):

  • Certificate of FP2 marks issued by the public institution to which your academic centre belongs. If you sat the specific phase of the university entrance exam (PAU), you must submit the PAU card with the marks.

 

If you are a graduate of Applied Arts and Crafts (AAiOA):

  • Official certificate of marks issued by the corresponding State school. If you sat the specific phase of the university entrance exam (PAU), you must submit the PAU card with the marks.

 

If you hold a vocational training module 3 (MP3) qualification:

  • Official certificate of vocational training module marks issued by the public institution to which your academic centre belongs. If you sat the specific phase of the university entrance exam (PAU), you must submit the PAU card with the marks.

 

If you are a trading expert (with a qualification equivalent to that of level-two vocational training (FP2) in the administrative and commercial branch):

  • Official certificate of grades for all courses (Order of 27 January 1983).

 

If you are an industrial specialist who has passed the final exams:

  • Official certificate of grades (Order of 13 December 1974).

 

If you have completed middle management training:

  • Official certificate of marks for the middle management training course issued by a public institution, along with the level-two vocational training (FP2) qualification (Royal Decree 1690/1980 of 18 July).

 

If you are a sergeant (sub-officer rank) of the Guardia Civil (Spanish police force):

  • Official certificate of marks (Royal Decree 313/2006, of 17 March).
  • If you are a graduate of a four-year degree, graduate of a pre-EHEA degree, architect, engineer, graduate of a three-year degree, teacher, technical architect or technical engineer (5-year degree): certificate of marks for all courses, marks calculated between 0 and 10 points, and the degree certificate itself or proof of payment of the degree certificate.
  • If you have taken a university degree course abroad: official recognition of academic qualification issued by the Ministry of Education and a certificate of marks obtained for all courses issued by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation, ANECA.
  • If you have a qualification as a registered nurse (ATS) and have completed the prerequisite course: a certificate of the marks for all courses plus a certificate confirming that the prerequisite course has been passed (Royal Decree 111/1980 of 11 January).
  • If you are a chartered accountant, accounts officer or insurance actuary: course certificate with final marks.
  • If you are a primary school teacher both from the 1950-67 syllabus (with their basic upper secondary school education (Batxillerat elemental)), and from the 1967-71 syllabus (with their higher upper secondary school education (Batxillerat superior): certificate of marks for all three years and upper secondary certificate.
  • If you are a specialist in tourism companies and activities and you have completed your studies according to RD 865/1980 of 14 April, which is considered to be equivalent to a university diploma: course certificate confirming that the final examination has been passed and that the corresponding qualification has been formally requested.
  • If you are an officer of the Spanish Army, Navy and Air force, in accordance with Royal Decree 434/2002, of 10 May, and completed your studies at the General Military Academy: official certificate of marks.
  • If you are an officer in the Spanish Merchant Navy and you completed your studies according to RD 355/1979, of 28 February, you are considered as a university degree holder: official certificate of marks.
  • If you are an airline transport pilot, in accordance with the Order of 9 May 1995: official certificate of marks and an equivalency diploma issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
  • If you hold a qualification in Ecclesiastical Sciences at university level, in accordance with the agreement between Spain and the Holy See: certificate of marks confirming that a degree is held. accredited by the appropriate authorities of the Catholic Church and the ministry responsible in matters of education (Royal Decree 3/1995 of 13 January).
  • If you are the holder of a higher education qualification in the Arts (Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, Dramatic Art, Music, Dance, Glass and Ceramics): certificate of marks for all courses as per Organic Law 1/1990, of 3 October, Part 2, Chapter 1.
  • If you hold a teaching qualification or professional qualification in music according to the Decree of 15 June 1942, or of diplomas of ability corresponding to previous syllabi: certificate of marks for all courses, issued by a music conservatory.
  • If you are the holder of an advanced-level music teaching qualification according to Decree 2618/1966, of 10 September: certificate of marks for all courses, issued by an advanced-level music conservatory.
  • If you are an officer or commissioned officer of the Guardia Civil (Spanish police force): official certificate of marks (RD 1563/1995, of 21 September) and equivalency diploma issued by the Ministry of Education.

If you have passed the university entrance exam (PAU) for over-25s: certificate showing the final mark for the exam.

If you have a recognised degree of disability of 33% or more or special educational needs: In addition to the required documents, depending on your academic background, you must submit the certificate from the relevant accrediting body.

If you are an elite-level or high-performance sportsperson, in addition to the required paperwork depending on your academic background, you must submit:

  • Elite-level sportsperson: a photocopy of the Spanish Official Gazette (BOE) or the Official Journal of the Government of Catalonia (DOGC)
  • High-performance sportspeople: corresponding certificate with an issue date in the current academic year.
